Dad's Kitchen Sink Cookies

My kids are making me post my favorite cookie recipe. I came up with it one day when I was bored with the same old toll-house recipe. Here you go. Let me know if you enjoy them.

Blend Together:

1 cup Butter (salted) I can't stand margarine, so I have never tried it.
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla (use only 1 tsp with real vanilla)
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp almond extract

In a separate bowl mix:

1/2 cup oatmeal (I prefer it blended or grounded)
6 oz grounded milk chocolate chips (you can use a simple milk chocolate candy bar)
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Blend both mixtures together and add:

2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup almonds

refrigerate for 30 minute (optional)

Bake at 350 degrees for 11 minutes

Eat with large glass of milk. :)
